“Bought a kit, PI arrived dead. Asked support for help, zero support, jut send it back, that is after paying import tax.
It would be ok if not that device which as sent was v1, initial release, which to my understanding had plenty of failure rates.
How are those even are still sold?”

“The case fits nicely - it doesn't even need screws to secure the Raspberry Pi in place (although there are four small holes for each corner).
The Pi itself works very smoothly - installed the supported OS from the supplied microSD card, connected it to my monitor and everything looks good.”
