“This works perfectly. I couldn't use the 40 pin connector to fit directly on to the Raspbeery Pi because I was already using some of the GPIO pins for other purposes. It is possible to connect to the Raspberry Pi using just 4 jumper wires. However please note that the only ground pin being used is board pin 25. (That stumped me for a while) This method also allows other GPIO pins to be used for the relays. Connect jumpers to GPIO pins 4 and 17 on the hat, and then to whichever GPIO pins you like on the RPi. The other jumper needs to supply 5v to the hat.”
