Small, neat and it works, and was a better option for what I wanted than trying to do it myself with separate components. Cannot fault the excellent service form the PiHut, order was delivered quickly and a subsequent query by me due to wrongly writing the driver to implement was dealt with straight away. Impressed.

Great little unit, however I ended up getting its bigger brother as I was looking for a push button on & off with complete shutdown.

Other switches can be manually implemented for the Raspberry Pi power source. I wanted an off the shelf approach to switch my embed Raspberry Pi device on and off in a safe manner. This was very easy to implement and worked great for my application. The board isn't large and fits neatly on the Pi. It contains a built in power on and off button with ports for LED, an external switch and a 5V output. Only issue I faced was turning the 5V output from the board isn't turned off when the Pi is. I had my fans connected so I am working on a replay loop to power down fans.
