“I received a defective device. The pressure reads were around 4000 hPa inside where it should be nearly 1000hPa. The read of chip ID suggests that device was either defective either not a Bosch made.”
“The product itself looks nicley made, and the right angled header was nice.
Im using the product with ESP home, and whilst the sensor reports etc to it, the values arent correct. currently its reporting 16.4C and 35% humidity. Another tempreture gauge next to it is recording 20C and 51% humidity. After looking online there is a discussion around this and it requiring a later version of the bsec driver that is in the repo.
If your loolking to add it to ESP home the 688 is suported and apparently gives the correcty values. Hopefully in time this will be changed and it return the correct values”
