“i got the inky frame as a toy for myself and it is absolutely amazing. the accessory kit makes it usable within minutes of opening and the builtin demo is really cool. the fact its written in micropython makes it super easy to tinker with using thonny. i had great fun playing around with it, modifying the demos and coding new things! the wifi is also very neat”
“The Inky Frame is a great display for anything that is more static in nature. Shop weather, photos, news etc are great. Games, internet etc not.
If anything the biggest drawback is micropython which is still in its infancy so some libraries are unavailable; couple that with memory limitations you have too be lean in programming and expectations on output.
But master these and it's a great display. The following image is quietly sitting there without part for last week!”
