The Badger 2040 is a great little product for experimenting with the RPI Pico, E-ink and MicroPython. Easy to use and connected to a BMP280 temperature/pressure sensor over I2C with no problems. The E-ink display does flicker during updates, so it is most suited to static or infrequent changes. The battery supply current consumption is around 26mA when running and 3uA when in the power-off state. For static display use, the battery does not need to be connected.

This thing is so much fun. Seeing the screen change and then stay the way you out it even when the power is off feels like magic.

So far so brilliant. I have not had time enough yet to properly start hacking away at this, but what I have seen so far leaves me confident that this is a well-made product with much capability and much to teach me.

This is a nice pi pico plus an e-paper display and 5 buttons all integrated on the same pcb and with i2c interface, power, debug, available on the edge It can be a basis for many small applications. I have made a try with a BM280 temp sensor and a CS3341 rtc module and it works very well
