“A little fiddly to install software side, but once it was setup it looked way better than any photos shown in reviews. I was sadly unable to get the touch screen to work yet, however, I belive that's a skill issue and I'm taking it as a challenge to get it to work.”
“Lovely clear screen. Just to warn anyone who thinks that the dimensions printed on the back are actually the dimensions of the unit ... they are not! I imagine that they are the screen dimensions. The actual unit is about 98mm by 59mm (difficult to give exact dimensions because the screen does not exactly line up with the circuit board, and there is a ribbon cable looping around the circuit board on the short edge.)”
“This is a great screen with touch support built in to the latest raspberry pi OS. Did take a bit of digging to get the right settings but works well once configured.”
“Fabulous little display, works like a charm. First delivered was dead, RMA'd and back working within days. Using a little ribbon cable to give my 400 life away from the big monitors. Not compatible with the Cyberdeck despite being listed as one of the suggested displays unless you're prepared to do some surgery on your Cyberdeck itself (removing diode or cutting a trace). I'll find another screen to use with the Cyberdeck...
Real simple install - one-liner add to /boot/config.txt, shows up as a second screen if you're plugged in to a monitor and main screen if you're not. Brilliant for the Pi 400.”
“Absolutely brilliant 4" Touchscreen for a great price. After finding out how good it was I ordered a second straight away.
The instructions provided are spot-on. I installed remote login into the Raspberry Pi first (just in case!). I now have one on a Raspberry Pi 3B and a Pi 4B.
For the Raspberry Pi 3B which only supports one display. IF the HDMI cable is present then its switches to display on the HDMI. The touchscreen part is very accurate. Alas, my fingers are not. It's so clear and readable.”
