“Overall I am very impressed from end to end.
The first board I received did not work, but with a couple of emails and a return to base it was all sorted. (no fuss and no bother!).
Building the Pi was reminiscent of building a Windows device, but the online instructions are very helpful and I had it going within about an hour.
Kudos to Pi Hut for keeping it real.”
“After continued failure by DPD, I bought equivalent goods from and when they DPD FINALLY managed to get them to me I returned for a full refund. PiHut service and staff seem great, but they are using a terrible courier which means you will be better just buying the goods from elsewhere.”
“Having had a couple of Pis I thought I would try a Zero and went for the wifi version Pibow case. The case is well made and has a nice feel but, as with other reviewers, I found assembly problematic. There are no assembly instructions and the layers numbering is not that apparent. There is a inner packing piece which goes under the Pi. If, as the cut out suggests, it is placed above the Pi, subsequent assemly will cause damage to the Pi camera port (which happened in my case) so just remeber that you can see all the Pi through the clear top. Fortunately I do not intend to use a camera with this Zero.
Once assembled the package looks great and compact. The led is visible without being over bright and not obstructed by the case. I do not like the fact that you have to take the case apart to change the sd card.
It has been running a script (downloading and uploading to the www every 30 minutes) 24 hours a day for a couple of weeks and keeping its cool.
Really pleased with its current use but would consider another case if being used where regular access to the sd card is required.”
