“What a nice little display. Really has this retro style. It's actually more readable from a little distance (>1m), because then you don't see the LEDs that are off anymore. Installation (the soldering) was pretty easy and the python library provided by pimoroni is great.”
“When I saw the Micro Dot Phat, I immediately bought one. I had some old 5x7 displays from a previous project, so I bought the version without displays. Happy to say that they worked without any problems. The provided Python SW worked fine - I usually run the "clock.py" on my Zero, for a retro desk top clock.”
“This microdot display has been perfect. For a little alarm clock to a scrolling display, kitchen timer or posh geeky table place card!
Endless possibilities for interaction :3
Very pleased”
“Extremely easy to set up once you soldered it all together. Uses limited only by the bounds of your coding ability and imagination! Am working towards a graphic-equaliser for my Shairport-Sync -based Pi Zero music-streaming device.”
