“Super-straightforward to put together. My setup required that I used the frame up-side-down. It would be nice if the leg stands were reversible, they're not, but I was able to fashion my own.”
“I have had the actual display for sometime now, but never bothered to get a frame. This offer seemed to be a very cost effective way to achieve an excellent package!”
“I have bought two of these over a period of a year or so. the first was fine in all respects although one of the support struts gets in the way of the ethernet port. Perhaps a right-angled RJ45 connector may work here but haven't had time to try one yet.
The second frame was identical but the touchscreen itself was found to have a thin strip of material projecting from the back of the screen on the right hand side. This meant that the nylon screws for the frame support leg on that side were not long long enough and had to be replaced by longer ones. Even though this worked, there is still a gap of around 1 mm between the screen and the first layer of the plastic frame material.”
“It holds the screen nicely, but i don't like how the Pi is exposed at the back, I had to adapt a case to cover it.
I would have preferred colour co-ordinated screws and legs but that wasn't an option.
Overall it does the job it is intended for. From the front it looks fine.”
“Had to customise parts of this with a file as it didn't fit around components. Screen is upside down though this can be fixed quite easily in software.”
