“I'm fairly careful with equipment and was therefore disappointed that the mount broke while I was assembling it. The tolerances in some places are perhaps a touch too tight. Even in fractured form it is quite a useful item as it protects the camera module and helps to prop it up.”
“Experimenting with Pi camera becomes quickly annoying due to hassle with manipulation of it. I tried to fix it with match box first: good for short time. Then I decided to to try tiny Pi camera mount. It does work well. You have tiny nylon screws in the bag and a bit of patience is necessary to assemble the mount with camera. After that I was able to use a small tripod. You just use a hole in the mount for that purpose.
Moreover, it was my first transaction using bitcoin. Quite amazing how smoothly it went.”
“A useful little accessory to mount your camera.
Maybe I should have ordered a few of them, so that I can move the camera easily from one location to the other. A few spare nylon bolts where included, for those who, like myself, have big fingers.”
“All felt a bit flimsy when assembling. Plastic screws and mini-bolts which I can imagine would lose their threads fairly easily. I got it assembled anyway and then was disappointed to see the 1/4 inch tripod mount hole had no threading to fit a tripod. And as stated in other comments the hole was too big so you would need to buy some kind of adapter to fit in it. The black plastic piece that has the hole is supposed to clip on to the main piece that the camera is attached to but it barely clips on to it. It could easily be knocked out of place.
There aren't a whole lot of options out there at the moment for mounting the camera. This thing is cheap and will do until I find something more solid.”
