“These make crimping Molex KK pins easy as can be. On my digital amateur TV projects including the RPi controlled Portsdown transceiver there are dozens of KK connectors. The PA-09 works superbly.”
“These have a nice solid feel to them and once I found the right instruction video and after a few botched practice efforts these turned out to be relatively easy to use. So far I've only used them on JST-XH and PH connectors, crimping the cable in the 1.9 hole and the connection in the 1.6 one.”
“Pretty expensive, but it is a really nice crimper. The flat end on the tip of the jaws is really nice if you need to adjust the small tabs on the connectors before crimping. With a little practice, you can make nice crimps with this crimper.
P.S. It takes less force than you may think. Especially on the insulation.”
