I'm quite surprised by how small SG51R servos are, compared to its sibling models. I'm making a small compact pet project that required small components and the SG51R looked like the perfect fit. The cost and shipping time weren't bad. They're also the legit TowerPro brand servos, they all worked straight out of the box, and have a respectable amount of torque behind them. However, I did experience some complications with all three SG51R servos that I ordered. First, despite being from the TowerPro brand, one of my servo's shells had a plastic bit broken off and it's now stuck/dragging on the top white plastic gear ( I don't know how but it happened within the first hour of use). The other two servos also started to jam up hard, however only when moving the servo arm by hand (moves normally when controlling through electronic means) The biggest problem however involved all three SG51R servos that I ordered. Whenever the three servos held a position, a high-pitch frequency emitted from all three servos. This resulted in myself and nearby friends to soon develop headaches. I tried different solutions (etc. lower supply voltage), but the high-pitch frequency continued, only until I completely unplugged the power source. I would handle the servo's shell breaking off and jamming up but it's almost impossible to work with these servos if I'm going to develop a headache within the first 5 minutes of turning them on. My return window on the servos already ran out but because of the low prices, it wasn't that bad and it's not the end of the world for me. I just wanted to write this review to let others know about my experience if they wish to order these servos as well.

Really good little servos, used them to convert a Lidl chuck glider to RC. All three worked well with no jitter.

Great product and worked well as a drop/release for my ezTargets. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/cf1gFaByC2o ^^ releases a ball with the servo which releases the target.
