“Well 55 amps, hmm... we have a 660 watt 12 volt motor and when we would go above a .3 out of a total of 1 it would always shut off and require a system reset. We never got to full speed. It seems it was maybe just scared of blowing and wouldn't allow much power to really pass through. So we ditched it in favor of just on / off relays.”
