“Works perfectly with the Raspberry Pi 3B+. However, the pinout is unconventional; the video comes out on the red connector, rather than the conventional yellow one.”
“As far as I can tell, this product works perfectly. It's detected by the Raspberry Pi and CRT, and works perfectly in Raspbian. However, in LibreELEC there is a slight hum in the audio (probably not a problem with the wires). Also I couldn't figure out the order to put the wires in, it seemed different than the instructions of the product, but it was a minor issue. Very happy in general.”
“Thanks Pi Hut for enabling my childhood love; playing classic games with minimal lag on my CRT.
Already I am owning punks in many classic games, something that I am unable to on my various mini consoles.
One thing I did notice that the red RCA connector is listed as video on the site, whereas with my item it is the yellow one, as it should be.
Buy from these guys, everyone! You will get great quality items for fair prices and you can rest assured that it will work, unlike these eBay composite games. Thanks people!”
“Step 1) plug this cable according to its colours (the description says Red=Video, but it did not work for me, I used Yellow=Video instead)
Step 2) switch on your RPI
Note: your RPI may not display anything if you try Step 2) before Step 1)”
