“A very small screen but interested to try it with a Microbit. Doesn't appear fully compatible with the extensions available, but works as a progress bar type display. Pinot matching pi will mean it comes in useful for something.”
“The screen is small, can display around 4 lines of 20 or so characters, and is straightforward to connect to a raspberry pi.
The drivers that are provided are in C++, however it is fully compatible with adafruit’s python screen driver libraries. If you buy this screen I’d recommend just using the adafruit libraries, especially if you feel more comfortable working with python.
Overall this screen is pretty good, this is the first screen I’ve used, and the first project I’ve built with a screen and got it up and working within a day. The only consideration is the screen size, if you only want to display a few lines of data at a time then this will work, otherwise maybe look for a larger screen.”
