“I am not an electronics expert. So, when I started getting into the whole electronics thing, I was faced with a long shopping list of little things I needed to purchase. Luckily, I purchased this little kit, and it has saved me a lot of time.
The kit contains wires galore, 3-4 LEDs, a handful of resistors, push button switches, breadboard, and other components I've not yet used. I think this kit was designed specifically for a youtube based tutorial for RPi learning, but so far, I have been using tutorials I found off the internet and this kit has covered all the necessary parts (so far!).
Great as a starter kit for someone new to this stuff, not so useful for experienced veterans.”
“A handy set to get to grips with the pi’s GPIO functionality. The online instructions could do with an update as it uses python v2, and a different (maybe older) GPIO library, but the walkthroughs mostly work okay, and the components aren’t wasted as it’s easy enough to find more up to date walkthroughs.”
