“I am building a BBC Micro:bit robot after building a Raspberry Pi robot. The board made setting up and running the motors really simple compared to the Pi robot.
When I moved on to avoiding obstacles I find the only ultrasonic sensors I have and can find are 5V. Although I am driving the board with 4 x AA battery input, there is no way of getting a 5V supply from the board. Kitronic suggest putting in a separate 5V supply.”
