Good value for money with an excellent instruction manual. The breakout connector and prototyping board is a clever design and makes the Microbit an excellent introduction to controlling external devices. Arrived on time as well. John

As far as I know this is fine. I brought it for my 12 year old grandson, whose birthday is tomorrow. Clearly I have absolutely no idea what I have got him, but his dad, who is a techy, told me what to get and will undoubtedly help him to build something for himself. The service was very quick and I found the buying process very simple. Hope that helps.

Great box for starting off adding to the micro:bit. Easy to follow instructions, a little fiddly at times but fun for all ages

Purchased this for my son along with a Micro:bit. Very quickly my son was using the input/output pins on the Micro:bit to control LEDs etc. An excellent way for children to understand how embedded microprocessors are used to make real things things washing machines. Real software, rather than all this cloud computing stuff :-)

The booklet explains the projects in language suitable for 6-7 year olds and above. Great way to get kids started with real electronics.

I would give the kit 4 out of 5 stars. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was it was not clear with the instruction booklet how much pressure to apply to get the micro:bit to fit into the edge connector. This was though easily fixed by watching a video on the Kitronik website. The rest is very straightforward and the projects quick to do.
