I really like these. Compact and able to drive a decent number of servos together with enough motors for a rover base. The 3V output is useful. Yes the extra pico GPIO lines are slightly fiddly to wire up to, requiring some soldering but not found that a problem.

Simply plug in a Pico, download the library, connect to the motors and you are away. Just write yourself a program, I'm learning how to write a program but I don't have to worry about connecting to much wiring between the Pico and the motor drivers.

Very difficult to solder headers onto pin out pads for sensors etc, why not bring the spare pins out already

Have 2 of these PCB's driving the 4 motors on the Waveshare Robot chassis. Got the example code working in 5 mins which is a first for me. Excellent support documentation and software library support.

I love this board. It is obvious a lot of thought was put into its design.

This board is the best I have found to add Motor Drivers to a Pi Pico. It will control up to 4 motors at a time and also has the facility to run R/C Servos from the connectors on the end of the board. The Pi Pico plugs into the board and keeps everything very compact. I am about to order another for a project. Simple to program using Python. Would recommend this. Bill
