Grabbed another as a xmas gift for my father. Have bought 3 now, and not had any issues. My sdare, is just that, and my main has been put through the ringer. Even got a good 5-10 meters controlled flight outdoors on a calm day. On a windy day it did get carried away landing on the roof, had to fish it off with a coat hanger stuck to a stick, but then it was right back to flying. Really has been incredibly robust and very easy to fly.

Returned for seconds, no issue with the first and it's been put through the ringer. But it's so much fun, such a great office and hallway toy, that also makes for a great dev subject. Grabbed another just in case and threw it in the draw as a back up.

Really nice build quality on both pieces, especially the drone for how light it is. Has taken a few hard tumbles ceiling to floor, bounced away and been fine. Initially had issues with veering on take off. I think I slightly misaligned the little annexed board that hangs below by using is for leverage when inserting the batter. Lining this up by pinching the back of the board against my nail and the front of the little frame that board sits on so it is perfectly in line, seems to have fixed the issues. The auto stability now works a treat. Batteries are those annoying delicate lithium one's that are most common now for the power to size/weight ratio. They take a bit of care to maintain in general, and the implementation here is extra fiddly because you don't want to be pulling at the pack and instead need to use your finger nail or a pair of tweezers to click the hard plastic connector part of it, in and out. Seems well priced for what you are getting, and it's great fun to fly.

I bought this product and the M5Atom joystick controller to experiment with drone flying. I was disappointed with the build quality of the drone. The cradle which holds the battery beneath the body of the drone is made of soft flexible plastic which I suspect will break after I have removed the battery for re-charging a few times. But I may not even get that chance, because the drone is inherently unstable and very hard to control, even in the so-called Stable/Auto-altitude mode. As soon as it takes off, it veers away at speed, as if it's unbalanced, even though I follow the instructions and power it up on a flat, level surface to allow it to calibrate itself before flight. As such, I can't recommend it, especially as a gift for a child, because they will quickly be disappointed and frustrated by it.

it is an awesome micro drone. it took me 1 hour to damage it but given my legendary lack of skills. Why 4*? inserting and removing battery is too difficult and increase greatly chance to break it. If u fancy toy to play with micro drone and learn few bits without spent fortune is great. Less good for me but i can't blame product for my lack of skills
