Works well. A compact package that makes learning and prototyping easy. Has many sensors and functions included, which means there is no need to wire up external sensors (if it's included).

This is my first foray into M5STACK stuff. This is a very nice piece of kit with quite an interesting Factory demo of all it's devices pre-installed. I have only one negative so far (Hence 4 stars) - I thought the Grove connector could be programmed as a Grove serial to talk to the LoRaWAN868 unit I also bought. But no, it seems the grove connector is I2C only. I don't think that's clear in any sales documentation So, to access the UART rx/tx pins you need to remove the 'Core 2' cover on the bottom and use some header pins - not a very robust thing. Still, it has plenty of 'toys' built in

Amazing device - an ESP32 with a quality LCD touchscreen and lots pf extras (IMU, SDCard etc. V easy to develop projects using Arduino, Python or UIFlow. Makes a great MQQT client.

This is a great little device. I’ve set mine up as a remote WiFi node (display/control), sending and receiving data to/from other ESP32 devices using MQTT (Node Red) as the broker running on a raspberryPi. It’s as easy to set up as an ESP32, but offers great graphics/GUI. It’s easy to program using UIFlow, python or Arduino IDE.
