“I obtained two of these coolers for a pair of Rpi5's since the CPU temperatures were running at around 65 degrees. These coolers have lowered the reported CPU temperatures to around 50 degrees which is more reasonable. One Rpi5 (16G mem) is running Zoneminder controlling 4 HD and one UHD IP cameras and the other Rpi5 (8G mem) is running a 4K screen displaying those cameras. The Zoneminder Rpi5 has 95% CPU utilisation (as reported by Webmin) so that makes for a VERY hot CPU with passive cooling. The network activity is very high with daytime average between 90 and 100 Mbits/Sec. In my situation, these coolers are vital to smooth and reliable operation.”

This did the job. Soon as 50 percent is hit the fan turns on a cools the system within a few seconds. Easy to build. Only problem i had it is designed in such a way that you cannot fit a ribbon cable on the gpio pins. Otherwise it does what it says on the tin.”
