Perfect for checking out circuitry before committing to soldered pad board or PCB.

I like this board because of its flexibility. LEDs Switches and Sounder are connected to ground. The only other pins brought out are the ground, +3.3 and 5.0 volts. This means I get the choice of how to allocate all the other pins, unlike some of the similar boards which have built in other devices restricting the use of the device.

Neat bit of dev kit with plenty of cables in the box and decent quality surface mounted LEDs on the board.

Some of the github respository examples need updating/rewriting. But once that was sorted the buttons/LEDs/buzzer worked as expected. Having buttons and LEDs packaged in a compact format and already to include in a Pico project is very handy. I added an LCD screen for displaying live travel/weather information - using the buttons to switch between stations/locations.

Very useful kit. The only issue I had was that the initial state is buzzer screaming. It took a few minutes to work out how to shut it up.
