“Very compact router board. Working on getting it set up as a portable travel router. Combine it with a Compute Model 4 of your choice and you're all set.”
“Neat package. Trivial to get Ubuntu running, was more involved to get OpenWRT to boot properly - had to overwrite start4.elf and fixup4.dat on the boot drive with versions copied from prior Ubuntu install, YMMV. Once running, great.”
“I was looking for a pi based router solution that can run openWRT, but with both ethernet ports connected to the processor without going through USB. The router carrier mini-board meets this requirement with great throughput performance so far. However, I found the compute module was getting a bit warm and I needed to add a heatsink to manage this. Overall a great product that meets my requirements and performs well”
