“It goes with the Teensy 4.1 + Eth board - it works as described but why it's not part of the main board is annoying; you buy the ethernet capable version but then need to buy the port kit to actually use it, it doesn't make sense!”

“I was planning to get the non-Teensy version of this kit (i.e. sourcing the parts from scratch) as I plan to include the LAN magjack on my own board rather than using the little breakout that comes in this package. But - time passed, I failed to source stuff, and found a wealth of info online for including the footprint on my own board. (Some useful forum posts on PJRC.) Also - more importantly - it comes with those PESKY 2mm PIN HEADERS (and sockets). I know they are reasonably ubiquitous, but I certainly didn't have any in stock.
