“Mistakenly ordered the header only it disintegrated after a few goes to install. However reordering with the installation jig, was worth the extra, it fitted easily with a light squeeze on a vice. Excellent, go solderless!!”
“The online instructions mentioned a plastic mounting piece which wasn't included, so I had to improvise. It took more than a small tap to seat the header, to the point where I thought I might have damaged the pi, but it worked eventually!”
“Should be noted that it’s seemingly impossible to attach this to a pi without a jig. I ordered it assuming it was push fit - it isn’t. You need something to hold the pi and pins lined up perfectly or you’ll do what I did and bent them, breaking it.”
