My (adult) son is absolutely over the moon with this. He says it is a great kit and has really enjoyed every day.

The concept is great and the kits are well prepared. I’ve bought a few things from PiHut and they’ve all been good, fast delivery (in UK, Europe and Australia). But their after sales service, while very friendly, isn’t very efficient. I had bought three Pico Advent calendars for family in three locations. One had a faulty breadboard with a missing row of connectors - that happens and PiHut quickly sent a replacement. BUT to the wrong address. I had told them the order number but still it went to the wrong address. In a very friendly way they apologised and sent another -ALSO to the same wrong address! Since then they don’t answer my emails, so this is the only way to get the message across. It’s a shame because I don’t like to say negative things about a company I like.

The breadboards are just way too stiff in this kit, compared to the first one (the red box from 2022). I've done the 2022 one the first half of September, so I know its not me. The breadboards in that one were less stiff. The breadboards in the 2023 kit are so stiff that when I try to put in the jumpers, it just breaks them. I've gone and gotten my own jumper wires, because luckily I have some, but it's broken those too. Would it be crazy to ask for a different pair of breadboards, and some extra jumper wires?

Bought for a tech nerd, from a tech nerd. My daughter started her career in tech and was looking to learn more about circuits as well as a fun little project for her. This was perfect for her and she's having a great time learning and showing me. So far her favorite bits have been building the circuits and troubleshooting her own errors. She cannot wait to open the next day!

Fun and easy to make. I was afraid this would require too much time to invest but not at all. Perfect for a beginner like me

This advent calendar is absolutely brilliant.!!! Its a very good way to learn a bit about Python programing language. The daily tasks I found easy to understand. Also you learn what the Pi Pico H can do, which I find amazing with the flexibility of the IO. Whoever put it together at the Pi Hut deserves an extra Mince Pie this Chrismas.
