“I bought this Arducam 2MP IMX462 camera with the expectation that it could run continuously, but unfortunately it becomes extremely hot after some time in use. During longer streaming sessions the camera overheats and stops working, which makes it unreliable for 24/7 applications. The image quality is good, but the thermal design seems poor. For a device marketed for day/night vision and continuous operation, I would expect much better heat management or at least some cooling solution included.”
