I found the Software a little tricky to set up but once achieved the resultant Images are superb. It was bought to replace a v2 camera and with double the MP it gives great results. It is used as a webcam at my local sailing club As usual Pihut we’re prompt with the order processing and had quick delivery.

Great product, but unfortunate that it doesn’t work with OctoPi / Octoprint without a complex workaround involving a ‘daily’ version of the octopi OS, not the vendors problem really but a note in description would be a useful heads-up

The camera uses all the same connectors etc, after getting it going it's really good quality the auto-focus on some sites is a one-off not continuous but for my project I think it's going to be very nice.

Nice camera with lots of detail in the picture. Worked right away following the guide, now I just need to add some automation or so.

Very pleased with results (running in an up-cycled 1960's Kodak Brownie camera driven by PiZero2W & Lipo battery). Only two drawbacks: 1) Very slow response using Python script to start the camera up on button press - (libcamera-still .... --autofocus etc....) takes about 8 seconds. Previously with RPi CameraV2 & picamera... took about 2 seconds). The gain in quality for still shots is well worth the wait however. Maybe I just need to write better code! 2) [my mistake] First driver install failed to work and reported 'unknown error'. I was following the Arducam instructions linked above but used a Pi400 for the initial OS install and updates etc before swapping card to PiZero2 for the final Arducam install bit. Also I had changed the Pi hostname for networking reasons ----> failure. Redoing the fresh install purely using the PiZero and not changing hostname ----> Success [insert happy face here] Now I'm just about to order another one for another project....
