“I was hitting the memory limits of the Arduino Uno so have moved to the MKR. I pair it with the Arduino MKR Connector Carrier which has Grove Compatible sockets. This handles the 3.3V to 5V level shift I need for the existing sensors. The Grove connectors are a more robust solution in that they positively locate. I prefer this compared to using a ribbon cable and male connector strip into the MKR itself. Also, because I can easily swap the MKR board without unplugging the carrier I can reprogramme the MKR at my desk rather than lugging the laptop to the project.”
