I ordered the Adafruit AD5693R DAC Breakout Board which I wanted to use with a Pi Pico. The Adafruit AD5693R Breakout Board is very small, but well made. The delivery to me was amazing, it came the next day! Sadly it took more than 24 hours to get the Pi Pico to communicate with a 16 bit resolution 0 to 2.5 volt output from the DAC, nothing to do with the hardware, but the guy writing the software (Me), useless pillock. I now have both the Pi Pico and Mrs DAC (not Ms) in a commutative relationship, and no, I didn't write a library, code should start at line 1 and continue down with as many goto's and variables with meaningless names as possible. I hope you are realising I'm an hardwear guy, not a programmer As for the Pi Hut chaps, and their products, I say thanks for the speedy service and products that aren't faulty, (you get what you pay for guys). The only niggle I have is the amount of items that are not in stock, but that hurts the Pi hut guys more than us so I bet they have screaming matches with their suppliers. If anyone wants the 'code' which is 'written' in micropython via thonny for the Pi Pico I will place it on this thread, its plainly not programmer quality, but it demonstrates the Dac, which is very good for a tenner if you want a programmable accurate and linear DC output voltage. Ok, I want a 32 bit dac now.
