I wish the cables had been sent together, or at least mentioned at the time of purchase, as I have to place a second order just for them. Extra time and resources, really a shame.

“A nice affordable controller for my custom keyboard project. I've not made a keyboard before, but just by following a build guide and reading the QMK documentation, I was able to get these flashed and working first time!
Note that the keyboard kit that I bought expected Pro Micros for the controller, so I can confirm that these work as a drop-in replacement despite having different processors. (This may be obvious to most people, but as a first timer I was slightly worried I was going to have trouble.)
I have not used my keyboard much yet, so I can't comment on the durability of the USB-C connector.
Also note that the units that I received had a black PCB instead of the advertised colour. I believe that different generations of the KB2040 use different colours, so bear that in mind if that matters to you.”
“very interesting little board both for custom keyboard projects and other projects, currently looking at using one for a custom flight sim controller as there are lots of libraries available for the rp2040 chip for various HID applications. its a very neat addition to a great ecosystem and has the benefit of Adafruits support and guides, which are as always exceptional.”
