“Very good looking diffuse LEDs. The white and blue are surprisingly bright (I don't have a way to measure exact brightness but the datasheet claims 18000–20000mcd; quite a bit more than the 250mcd in the product description) which was a nice perk, and the white LEDs are a relatively "warm" colour (or at least not cold). Because of this, I'm now using 4 of the white LEDs in series driven by a 9V battery, microswitch, and 12V boost regulator as a "fridge light" in a closet.
It's a shame these white LEDs don't seem to be available individually, because with their brightness and colour temperature I have many more uses for them!”
