Not getting anywhere close to the distances mentioned. I have purchased an antenna like the one pictured and altered the code. Its a nice little experiment to see how far you can get these transmitting

I managed to get communication over a distance of 2.3km (line of sight) at 868MHz using SMA antenna. At the moment only playing with basic Arduino scripts. Transmission is not encrypted and probably transparent. Only communicating between 2 LoRa at the moment, so no conflict between messages.
