“Screen worked for about 5 minutes then the I2C backpack failed blowing out the LCD. I checked my wiring several times over, and it was correct. This makes me feel it was a dodgy screen or backpack.
This being said, the 5 minutes it was alive it was clearee than most I have seen.”
“Works as expected of Adafruit quality. Well packaged and prompt delivery from Pi Hut. I used the header and mounted the LCD on a pcb with 4 plastic spacers and screws.”
“What can I say - displays characters like every other character display. Well priced. PCB is very thin and not flat so a potentially fragile mounting. Not a display I would use in an application subject to any vibration.”
