“It’s really worth paying the extra. Compared to the cheap eBay or Ali Express tips it’s night and day. These transfer and disperse heat so much better. I now always use Hakko T18 tips and like many things I only buy from Pi Hut where I know I’m getting the genuine thing.”
“Fits the Hakko FX 888-D perfectly and comes up to temperature fast and remains stable. The C2 is an excellent tip for general soldering (tinning cable ends, component soldering etc.) and desoldering but I'd use different specialist tips for small PCB surface mount components. Great price for this quality essential tip.”
