“Works a treat - the 850Hz capture rate is superb! I must confess that I did first buy a look-a-like part from ebay which turned out to only be 12bits. This one is 16bit. I have learned the hard way that its worth paying a bit more to buy from a reputable supplier and get a genuine board that pays for the software driver development needed to use it. Very good.”
“A nice little 4-channel 16-bit ADC with programmable gain. I've used this to measure temperatures with an Adafruit thermocouple amplifier - https://learn.adafruit.com/ad8495-thermocouple-amplifier - and it works well. Handily, both these boards run off both 3.3V and 5V so can be used with almost any I2C controller, such as Arduino, ESP32, RaspberryPi & Microbit - just plug in the wires and you're good to go. Using the ADS1115 with Arduino was very easy - Adafruit supply a library that is simple to use.”
