“Wired a few of these in place in more tight spaces than the full size unit. Worked first time. Able to pair it with wifi and update it for zigbee using the app. One device took a few minutes before it started to work, but all others started and paired straight away.”
“I found the terms and conditions of the App to configure the device unacceptable and wanted to configure the device without using the App. The website indicated this was possible, but I was unable to configure the device even with the help of Shelly support. Looks to me like a short fall in the design and testing. My unit has been returned to Pi Hut without fuss. A big thumbs up to Pi Hut for that.”
“Simply works in it's standard configuration and easy to connect to and setup, a different story when you set it to ZigBee mode. Once set up as a ZigBee device the only way I could find to configure it was to get a Shelly account and use the app. Still a great product and working great in home assistant”
