“An attractive and solidly-built temperature and humidity display. If you want to use it for logging as well as just the display you will want to power it via the USB-C port, as otherwise it only sends MQTT messages on significant changes of temperature and humidity or every few hours. The BLU H&T is better for logging as it reports every minute, so if you don't need the display get one of them and a BLE gateway instead. Docking a star for that feels unfair, so I won't.”
“So 4 out of 5 due to the product ID already being registered but Shelly support did sort that out within the Day. More an issue for me, that the minimum delta between WIFI updates is 0.5 Deg C. Thus if you are using for heating control there is a possibility of a 0.5 DegC overshoot. However this is a software limit only to save battery. Hopefully they will listen and allow a lower limit.
However the product construction is great. It is very neat and pretty. The Sheely cloud interface is the best I have seen . So far only reporting to the cloud but plan on integration to my Nodejs home automation using webhooks or MQTT!”
