“The hat and drive themselves work great! Getting the pins lined up with all the little holes and not damaging anything was difficult, but not impossible. Only complaint is not being able to find a Pi5 case that will fit this attached to the board. The HatDrive is just a few mm longer than the Pi5 so no standard cases fit.”
“Well engineered in my opinion. A single hat that serves two very useful functions. Unlike many 'hats', this one also allows unrestricted access to the GPIO header and the display/camera connectors. I was able to make a PoE camera system about of this, in combination with the Pi camera module.”
