“Nicest case I ever had. It's a pity that the bottom is plastic bit I guess that reflects in the price. I think the manual is a bit confusing when it comes to route the fan wires. In my interpretation the suggested route would have resulted in unnecessary tight bend radius for the wires. I might be wrong.. all in all very happy. The fan has to come on barely never.”
“Overall a pretty good case. I found it a bit fiddly to route the fan cable; while it's clear where it should go, the fact that it's a ribbon cable makes it difficult to do it exactly as the instructions show. I got it in the end, though. Assembly was otherwise fine, and it has a nice, clean look while still having some cooling capacity. The one disappointment is the plastic base. It looks rather cheap compared to the rest of the case. I would have been willing to pay a few pounds more for a metal base.”

An expansion base is available to make room for add-ons, saving the need to buy another case; well thought out. Highly recommended.”
“Good quality case that feels very robust and provides active cooling and a decent heatsink. Reasonably easy to put together (just the fan cable being a little bit of a fiddle - everything else is super simple) and now my Pi 5 is securely ensconced.”
“It's a very well constructed and well thought piece of kit. The aluminium radiates the heat well and the fan kicks in when the temperature hits 55C. I've only heard it a handful of times. The contrast between the plastic base and the aluminium actually looks wonderful.
I worried about the case for ages, but trust me, this is the one to get. The case gets warm sure, but it looks great and suits any aesthetic whilst being a great bit of kit.”
“I've always gone with the official red & white Pi cases till now but I think the Pi 5 could benefit from the additional cooling provided by the metal of the NEO 5 case. I would have liked the whole case to be metal as the glossy black plastic of the base section stands out against the matt finish of the metal but, overall, this is a great case.”
