“Cool little device for projects that require a very small footprint. When using the camera the device does get quite hot though at almost 70C, so consider heatsinking or other thermal management.”

“The size of the board is pretty amazing as so tiny compared to my previous ESP32 CAM board, the quality of the board is amazing. My only concern is the heat, as it does heat up very quickly and after a few minutes if you try to remove the USB C connector you will burn your fingers.
I was very impressed with the delivery as it came the next day much to my surprise and unlike most places, the postage was very reasonable.
If all works out well then I will be buying another one shortly for a friend.
Normally I buy electronics from Aliexpress but in this case it wasn't worth it as the price was very close and I didn't need to wait 3 weeks. plus PiHut is a very reputable company.
The ESP32 CAM example works fine with this board you just need to select the appropriate board.
Will be going inside my full size dalek's eye to supply video over wifi and control the iris as well as the light. As I said earlier only concern is the heat especially once enclosed in the eye.”
