“An enjoyable piece a technology if you like tinkering with hardware and/or low-level code.
A couple of things what to expect:
Pi Pico has an ARM Cortex-M0+ CPU with 2 cores, no FPU, but floating point operations are implemented on ROM, co you can call them from your code. Inspite of it's small size, you can code even on Python, just need to load MicroPython firmware through USB, which is available on raspberry.com.”
“Had been curious about Pi's and the associated devices and decided to buy this starter kit. Delivery was excellent and I have had fun following the associated 'lessons' and then tinkering with them using while commands and input. I also borrowed a Library book on Python and tried some of that too. My aim is just to enjoy myself and maybe, at the end build a little robot - who knows!”
“The Pi Pico is a magnificent piece of technology, it is most notably used (and I used it myself for) video game console hacking, so far it is used in the Xbox 360 as a replacement for an expensive NAND flasher and GameCube as a board mod chip. There is even a Nintendo Switch mod being developed with the Pi to replace the very expensive £100+ mod chips that are on the market now; this board is amazing and such a great price too.”
