It works well. I added it on top of a raspberry pi zero 2 to have a scheduled on and off phase for my e-Ink display controller. Creating a schedule script is easy, but I looks like it starts from the first entry of the schedule once you activated it and not based on the date you put in.

Great little device to connect to any RPI . The pin connectors make it so that u can directly mount it on top of the PI.

Very impressed with this product - very well thought out and seems to work flawlessly. It overcomes the flaw in pi's shutdown by cutting the power to the board when it (or your) shutdown has finished, so it can reboot the pi at a set time - ideal for battery powered operation. Setting up was easier than I expected and it will also monitor for low battery and over temperature (you can set this to any temp you want). I have it coupled to a powerboost 1000 for voltage conditioning and charging using the VS output to allow the Witty to monitor the battery, but also allows the pi to run when power is plugged in even with an under voltage battery. As an added bonus it adds no height to a Zero W2 with header. I will definitely be buying more whenever I need the rtc/power management capability.

This item was not usable out of the box as it required a long 40 pin header extension, which I was unaware of. I am not sure even with the extension it would not fowl on another component on my RP4B. I have been unable to test this device so far.
