“These boards seem to often be out of stock, but are a nice size to match the Pi board size when you can source one. While there are no obvious pads that can short circuit, I added a piece of thin plastic between the metal socket surrounds on my Pi 3B+ and the relay board.
Using Claude AI to write a web enabled Python script worked well with this board (ChatGPT failed to produce working code). I now have a lovely web enabled remote switch with very little coding needed on my part.”
“Works like a charm! Stack it - use it!
6x relay boards not easy to find. There are plenty of 2x,4x,8x,16x but hardly 6x which smoothly matches the Pie4 form factor. Unfortunately import tariffs into the EU are significant. Anyway I wanted specifically this board and I'm totally fine with it.
These are heavy duty industrial relays.
It could be of major interest for having a suitable full or raspberry top enclosure.”
“Ordered, mounted, tested - and it's simply working with the test.py script linked below (fix last command error though; should be "r6.off()" NOT "r7.off()".
Easy as Pie!
My full recommendation.
Customs should be mentioned or precalced, this could cause a surprise otherwise. (+12,09€ for Germany)”
“Great board, good quality and design. Would have been useful to have received instructions on the GPIO allocation to relay numbers to save me visiting the web site again.”
