“A worthwhile purchase along with the original case, as you get two regular-sized USB-A ports as well as the micro-USB for power. Good to have a larger HDMI as well, but the USB hub is essential really and means you don't need to use a separate one. The two cases clip together neatly and feel tight.”
“As expected excellent service from Pi Hut. Royal Mail delivered on time as always.
The ArgonPod USB HDMI module was bought to allow me to use the ethernet pod module and also to let me use a usb flash drive as the boot device on my Pi Zero 2. This is maybe a bit expensive but I am running identical dual systems as Pi Hole's for my home network. All this is a brain workout for me as I am a 74 year old ex computer engineer who still enjoys playing with computers. Both systems are running well after the usual teething problems.”
“Attaches firmly to the Argon Pod Case with a positive click to provide two standard USB ports and an normal HDMI port. As the Argon Pod modules are stackable, and I do not have a module below this setup, it may be desireable to add some bumpon hemespheres to the uderside to provide clearance for the ventilation slots. My current setup does not have any heat issues but is is under very light load. In fact it runs about 5 to 10 degrees cooler than with the previous case.”
“As an add on to the Argon POD case I consider this to be an essential. It has the same quality build and design and adds full size USB and HDMI sockets.
Connection to the main POD is simply a matter of aligning the outlet sockets of the USB/HDMI module to the corresponding sockets of the POD and pushing them together.
An excellent addition to the POD and the two together make a nice square micro computer unit.
Having seen the quality and design I am going online to buy the other add ons especially at the low prices of the modules. Well done Argon.”
“Well built as expected and the usual great service and delivery from PiHut. The pod system is perfect for my project to create a bonded device for live streaming via two or more 4G dongles.”
