“Very impressive performance for the price and easy to use if you’re happy with the default configuration. However, I really struggled to change the baud rate and other settings as the documentation is hard to find, in Chinese and wrong in the case of the manual for the Air530. That’s because I eventually discovered that I have an Air530z which has a completely different set of commands from the Air530. I know it’s cheap, but it doesn’t cost much to provide a link to the right manual.”
“Very good GPS receiver. Able to lock on to GPS position data indoors near a window. Also suitable for receiving time/date data (even with slightly weaker GPS signal).
This unit appears to be compatible with the M5Stack GPS unit and can be interchangeably used in M5Stack projects.”

“Excellent kit, I have been struggling with other brands recently in terms of picking Satellites reliably, but this one solved all my problems. It even works indoors! As usual, PiHut delivery is quick and items are well packaged. Maybe PiHut could look into giving longer returns policy as I could have returned the other GPS boards (unopened) as they will no longer be used as they were not fit for purpose.”
