“Apart from one screw was already rounded off and took some effort to take off, I am happy with this case, needs to be apart to take the SD card out though.”
“Had a problem removing one of the case screws, had to cut it off to get the case opened.
The case other than that is ideal for a pi with a msata add on board, with a couple of mods and a fan added my pi runs 5 degrees cooler.”
“Perfect case for the low-profile Ice Cooler in my opinion.
There are a number of configurations you can set this in depending on what project you are doing, or how you want it to sit in the housing. It comes with a Perspex bottom that can be mounted inside, however I found I didn’t want to use it, but great addition, all the fittings work well but the little adhesive strips weren’t so sticky, and the case screws were not the best at fitting especially if you are opening and closing the case repeatedly, as I do, to demonstrate things to my 8 year old, and if you want to get access to the GPIO pins. But don’t let this deter you, overall, this is a great case and my third build. Excellent work.”
“This case is great if you are looking to keep your pi as cool as possible. Combined this with the low-profile ICE tower and temperatures hardly get warm now. Only improvement i would make is to make it easier to remove the MicroSD card as it is pretty recessed into the case and need tweezers to remove it.”
“The case is excellent well made and excellent quality. If you are also using the Low-Profile ICE Tower Raspberry Pi 4 Cooler, just be careful as the cooler instructions are wrong. It's easy to sort though a bit fiddly. The combination of case and cooler does keep the Pi very cool indeed.”
“A great case, fitting is is quite diffucult but once you understand how to do it clearly it works perfectly!
On my specific order one of the screws were rounded, and PiHut happily replaced it for me!
A wonderful product from 52Pi and great service from ThePiHut!”
“Really great product. Looks amazing and wasn't too hard to put together.
Comes with the screwdriver you need.
The fan is pretty quiet in this case, but adding some rubber feet would be even better!”
