“I’m really impressed with this antenna. I mounted it above my shed, and the difference compared to my small internal antenna is night and day. Previously, I was only picking up around 10 aircraft a day, but now I regularly see around 60. The installation was straightforward, and the build quality feels solid. If you’re looking to boost your ADS-B reception without spending a fortune, this is a great option. Highly recommended!”
“The difference with this antenna to the small indoor mag mount is night and day. I was picking up max range of 100 miles with that. With the 60cm ion a pole in the garden my range is now +250 miles. I’m in north wales and no pick up aircraft over Scotland, the Irish Sea, the South coast and over the east coast. I regularly pick up over 2000 individual aircraft in a 24 hour period. My next move is to get the antenna mounted on the roof of the house for increased coverage. For the price, the quality of the 60cm is exceptional. I highly recommend this as an upgrade to an ADSB tracking system.

“Great looking antenna; think it will last on my roof. My only comment is if you want to cover the connector with tape or something to add a bit of extra protection to the cable connection then the supplied base plate gets in the way a little. I would recommend that you remove it to add the tape and reassemble. Not recommended when you are up on the roof though if you can avoid it as dropped nuts tend to bounce down the roof picking up speed never to be seen again!”
