“Mine arrived and first thing I did was put it on a nanovna analyser swr was 1.02 almost a perfect match , compared it to a 10 element coaxial colinear and it matches the performance ,, Furthest distance today with it is 251 nautical miles , more or less the theoretical maximum distance given my set up ,, Fantastic antenna for the price , very well built .compact setup . I would recommend it to anybody wanting a plug and play ready built antenna .”
“This antenna worked well alongside the ADS-B 1090MHz filtered preamplifier I purchased from The PiHut. The build quality is very solid, and it was straightforward to mount. I’ve currently installed it on my balcony, which is partially enclosed by two walls, and I’m still able to detect aircraft from around 200 miles away.

“This thing makes a HUGE difference over a basic desktop antenna. I've mounted mine in the loft space and whilst before my range was around 30nm, I'm now seeing aircraft 160nm away. Unless you've got an interrupted 360 view of the horizon you'll still find this directional (no antenna can see ADS-B signals through terrain) but for a small outlay it really does make a massive difference to your reception.”
